Gentle Max Pro
The Gentle MaxPro Laser
At HairFree LaserClinic, we tackle unwanted hair growth with the GentleMax Pro and GentleLase Pro, our advanced lasers suitable for every skin and hair type. The GentleMax Pro is particularly effective thanks to the combination of two laser types: the Alexandrite 755 nm for lighter skin types and the Nd YAG 1064 nm for darker skin types, with easy switching between the two. A built-in cooling system instantly cools the skin during treatment, increasing comfort.
Our treatments
Whether you come for laser hair removal or treatment of skin problems, our GentleMax Pro laser offers a solution for all skin types (I to VI). Treatment success depends on several factors such as hair growth stage and hair colour, but on average 8-10 treatments are sufficient. The GentleMax Pro is designed to be powerful and fast, with variable pulse duration for safe use, allowing us to efficiently destroy hair follicles and stop further hair growth. This makes the GentleMax Pro a safe, fast and more effective choice in laser treatments.

Frequently asked questions laser hair removal
Due to the specific properties of the Candela GentleLase Pro and GentleMax Pro, treatment is absolutely safe for your skin. Unlike other systems, there is no direct contact with the skin, so there is no need to apply gel during treatment. This laser also uses a unique cooling system (Dynamic Cooling Device technology). Good cooling ensures a pleasant treatment and gives extra protection to the skin. These features contribute to comfort and hygiene during treatment.
Before the treatment begins, you will be given glasses to protect your eyes from the laser light. The laser specialist then starts the treatment. On average, you will be done in about 10 to 60 minutes, depending on the area to be treated. Because we use the most advanced cooling technology currently available, the treatment feels pleasant.
The GentleMax Pro combines two types of lasers: the Alexandrite laser for lighter skin and the nd:YAG laser for darker skin. So we adjust the device to your skin for the best results.
The laser specialist places the laser on your skin and with a short flash, the GentleMax Pro destroys the hairs that are in the active growth phase. The hairs that are in the active growth phase do not return. This is because the hair’s pigment absorbs the light from the laser, after which the light is converted into heat. The heat breaks down the hair follicle and after a week or two, the hair will fall out. After treatments, the hair does not return.
Before treatment, you will receive an honest and transparent advice on the number of treatments needed and the cost. At HairFree LaserClinic in Utrecht, you are treated faster thanks to the high quality of the lasers and the unique treatment protocol. This will save you a lot of money and you will be out of treatment faster with us than with a regular clinic.
After the trial treatment, we create a personalised treatment plan with you. When you stick to this treatment plan, you will have the best results. The more you follow our advice, the better the result will be.
The period between treatments is eight weeks for body hair. For facial hair growth, this period is about four to six weeks. This is because not every hair is in the same growth phase, so we cannot permanently remove all hairs in one treatment. The hairs that are in the active growth phase about six weeks later are removed during the next treatment.
